I want to learn Bisaya because it's my boyfriend's native language. I want to speak to his family with confidence and without having to have every conversation translated into Filipino.
I am a beginner and I want to learn proper grammar and good conversation skills.
I go to work every other day and during my off days, I plan to spend at least 4 hours for my Bisaya lessons.
I want my teacher to have a concrete schedule of the modules/lesso ns so that I can cope up easily and gradually adjust with the learning.

I wish to become fluent in cebuano as i spend 7 months every year in poro camotes and travel to cebu every 2 weeks for shopping. i consider myself to be a beginner and think it would be great to interact with every one i meet especially when downtown shopping. as i am retired from the military i can spend all day learning especially when back in canada.i have full internet at my poro house and in canada. ( the time difference is 13 hours behind philippines.
for a teacher requirement i would only ask that they teach that which is relevant to my daily activities.

My wife and her entire family are from Bohol. I just recently had a son and I would hate not understanding what my son is saying (as I am sure my wife's family will only talk to him in Bisaya). I am looking to learn the language as there is a complete lack of proper learning materials for Bisaya out there. My wife speaks it but she is terrible at explaining things and she has no clue about reasons for why they say things the way that they say.
