I want to learn Burmese because I plan on moving
to Burma in June. I have lived in Thailand for 2.5 years and
have many Burmese friends and would like to communicate
with them more clearly. Further, I am interested in
learning to read Burmese in order to read classic short
storie s. However, my priority is learning basic
conver sational Burmese. I am willing to commit
8 hours per week to study and would like to meet twice weekly
with a teacher.
