My partner is from Serbia. He speaks english, but unfortunately his family dosen't. I want to be able to communicate with them. I have no knowledge of the language and am wanting to have a thorough understanding of it so I can communicate and comprehend the language in Serbian.
It could also benefit my career as I am a primary school teacher.
I am willing to dedicate as much time as possible to learn the language because I feel I will need lots of attention.
In terms of qualities, I am hoping for a friendly teacher who can deliver the lesson in a fun and happy manner, comprehensive ly and clearly.

I am a beginner who would like to learn Serbian (in the Latin transcript) in order to understand people and make my self understood in Montenegro (Podgorica). I have never had any classes, read any books, etc. and am a complete beginner. I am studying abroad in Germany until July, and hope to go to Serbia before I leave to begin my understanding of the culture and language, even if it is for just a few short days.
I would like only a few lessons to start with, maybe alphabet and pronounciatio n, and then move on to basic vocabulary. I am taking 5 classes already at the university, so I don't want to be overly stressed.
