My proficiency is beginner (very much so). I am learning the language b/c I have a very good friend who speaks the language.
The language is very difficult so I do not know how best to describe how much is necessary to really take a good shot at learning it.

Hi, I have never learned Portuguese before. The reason why I aware to learn Portuguese is because I am going to travel around Europe and also some South American countries soon and I think that learning Portuguese can also be a new experience to me.
