I am a beginner in learning Japanese but have done some self teaching and had a few private lessons previously. My reasons for learning Japanese are mainly just out of interest in Japan and to make visiting Japan more fun and a bit easier. I can dedicate at least an hour a week towards lessons but can do more depending on scheduling. The only really important quality I’m looking for in a teacher is that they can teach Japanese. And I guess a native Japanese would be best.

In general i like learning languages fast, as this is the best way i remember them as i experienced. Therefore i need someone who explains well but is serious about really teaching me to understand and to speak the language> If possible 2 times a week.
