I am interested in learning the Telugu language. Just recently I visited Andhra Pradesh, India. I stayed with a wonderful Indian family in a small rural village for 3 weeks. I will be visiting again hopefully soon and would like to communicate with them. I would be a beginner student.

Hi, I am Maya doing my masters in computers. I want to learn telugu because of my keen interest for learning spoken language. I really like the language very much and I have gone through book learning telugu in 30 days. However I want to be able to speak fluently. I can dedicate daily 1-2 hours to learn my lessons.
As for the qualities in my teacher, I expect that he or she be a good human being with willingness to teach. Someone who can help me in speaking language fluently - I should be able to converse the way any telugu person would.
Wou ld appreciate a sincere response as I am a serious learner. I would like the lessons to be mailed on my email account. I will reply promptly to any messages received.

Hello,
I am looking for someone to help my husband and I learn to read, write and speak telugu. We are both beginners. I have a little more background with it because my parents speak it and I learned some when I was little but have forgotten most of it. We both want to learn to converse with some of my family members, like my grandparents and to teach our children (when we have some ofcourse.) In particular I would like to focus on conversationa l skills. However I would also like to learn how to write proper telugu. I am willing to spend about an hour everyday to learn. My level is that of an absolute beginner. I am an Indian and my mother tongue is Tamil. I want to learn Telugu because my husband is Telugu and I want to learn to speak his language. He has tried to teach me but it hasn't really worked out. So I would like to learn from someone who can teach me properly. I only want to learn to speak the language and want to do so in two months, before I go to India for my vacation.
