I consider myself to be an advanced learner of Arabic. I want to improve my Arabic because in the near future I will have to work in an Arab country (again).
The lesson should consist of working with newspaper articles (commentaries ), special vocabulary (political, cutural, religious), conversation on current topics and translation (from english) into arabic.
My idea is 60 or 90 minutes per week for 12 weeks (roughly)

LEVEL: I'm a beginner, however I do know a few basic phrases.
W HY: I need to learn a bit more than the basics for an important business trip to Bahrain. I visited Bahrain in 1996 for business and have been asked to come back in March 2006. I'd like to impress my hosts with some casual conversation.
AREAS: Mostly conversation, I will not have a need to read Arabic.
TI ME: As much time as I can afford to clock between now and my departure.

I am very interested in learning middle eastern arabic Beginner's Level to obtain the basic skills necessary for potential employment with Security Companies stationed in Iraq. Learning arabic will enhance my interpersonal skills allowing me to interact favourably with others from an Iraqi background. I would be willing to dedicate an hour to two hours a day to learn arabic. Since I will starting at the beginner level in arabic, I require a teacher who has alot of patience.
