I have no basics at all in this language but is very interested to master it. I want to learn in mainly because i want to master another language, an i find Spanish very vibrant and attractive. I plan to dedicate around 1-2 hours a week for classes, or as recommended by the teacher. i hope to find a teacher that is understanding and not too intimidating, as well as one who's time is more flexible as my schedule revolves mainly around university and reseearch projects. thus, there may be times where i need to alter the time of class.

I am in Kuala Lumpur Thursday May 21 (2009) and the 22nd. I'm looking to take beginning classes in Bahasa Indonesia and/or Bahasa Malaysia in the evening, for one to two hours (will depend on how I feel the lessons are going). I have recently traveled in Indonesia and Malaysia for business, and having learned a little about the language am curious to try to learn more. I hope to come back soon, and if so would like to be able to have some basic conversation skills if possible. I am a 27 year old male (American), currently living in China (I also speak Mandarin Chinese, and am hoping Malaya will be much easier to learn..)
I would like to meet at a coffee shop or similar location in the Bintang shopping district, which is near where I am staying (very close to BBQ park). I am looking to pay around 50 ringgit an hour (pricing negotiable).
