I would say my proficiency level with the Arabic language would be a beginner, but I am familiar with alot of the words. I was married to a Palestinian for almost three years and picked up on alot of the words. I do not know the structure or gramatical way of speaking the language. I am in school now and for the summer quarter I will only be attending classes 2 days a week, so I could devote 2 days a week as well to learining Arabic. I find this language very unique as well as any other foreign language but since I have experienced Arabic on a personal level I would like to learn more. I do not see this advancing my career goals but learning something new can never hurt you.

I am a Palestinian born in the USA who is proficient in spoken Arabic but requires structured training to improve poor skills in reading and writing. The main weaknesses I would like addressed include vocabulary and grammar. I am a highly motivated student who requires an intense curriculum.
