I speak german at a beginner/inte rmediate level. I come from a german family, and lived in the Netherlands for twelve years while growing up. I would like to expand my german skills, both for career advancement and personal development. I need improvement in all levels: grammar, conversation, volcabulary. I would be willing to dedicate several hours a week to this endeavour. I would look for a teacher that has absolute mastery in the language, probably with a knowledge of some german literature.

I am a beginer at the German language. I've always wanted to learn German becuase i want to go to college in Germany. Another reason is i might get accepted on a student exchange to Germany so i would like to better my skills. I would like to take lessons one or two times a week every week. I am a first generation Canadian born to Austrian parents. When I was growing up, german was used less and less in my home and this coupled with the fact that I left home young has made me lose whatever german I once possessed.
I have always wanted to become fluent in the language and now I am more determined than ever. I am going to Vienna in August to see my heritage and where my deceased mother grew up. I would like to be able to communicate with my relatives so I can truly research every aspect of my background and be able to clearly understand them.
