I am learning spanish so that I can move to Latin America and work in the micro-finance industry.
10 years ago I spent 1 month in Costa Rica learning spanish, however, since then I have not had many opportunites to continue to practice.
I need to focus primarily on conversation and grammar.
I can dedicate up to 10 hours a week on my spanish studies.

Hello, my name is Renee. I am very intersted in learning Spanish as a second language. I have always found it to be a beautiful language, I also enjoy travelling and would like to be able to better communicate with the local people. I know almost no German and all I have learned has been from the begining part of a cd set I bought to help me learn. I have decided to learn german mostly for my own self-advancem ent, but also because I have considered becoming a diplomat and I am always willing to keep my options open for the future. I am willing to dedicate about 3 hours a week, maybe more once we are started. I have 3 days in a row off a week and could possibly travel accross the city once a week for a class. Me and my boyfriend want to learn Norwegian because we have always been fascinated with Scandinavian culture and would love to be able to converse with people when we travel there this summer.
We both only have a basic understanding right now. (as in hello, goodbye, how are you etc.) so we are very beginner.
Ri ght now we'd like to focus on pronouncation and conversationa l Norwegian.
W e want to dedicate as much time as possible. We both go to school full time and have jobs but I think 1 or 2 sessions a week that last an hour is good.
The qualities we are looking for is bascially anyone who knows Norwegian! You don't have to have any teacher qualification s, we just want someone to meet in person because its so hard to find a Norwegian teacher in Calgary!
