I am learning German for personal reasons. I am going to Austria in the summer and would like to converse naturally with the people I am meeting there.
I need improvment in all areas, grammar, conversation, accent, etc..
I would like to dedicate 3 hours a week to improving my new language.
I want my teacher to be patient with me. I need to be disciplined by someone who expects me to learn efficiently. My teacher should preferably be a native Austrian. I want to learn Austrian German.

I am a 47 yr old beginner. I would like to learn to speak, read and write German because my fiance is German, and still has a fair amount of contact with friends and family. I have a friend who would also like to learn German with me.
I can devote about an hour each day to study, and have the advantage of living with a native. He is NOT a teacher, however, and not long on patience.
I would like to have an instructor who knows the best way to imprint a foreign language on the adult brain.

Hello.
I am looking to learn German. I am planning a trip to Germany in March. The reason I want to learn is for my own personal preference. I would like to speak so others can understand me and and so I can understand them.
I took a few classes in High School and only remember a limited amount of words so I suppose I would be at a beginner level.
