We are planning to travel to India in July. We are interested in taking Hindi lessons, once or twice per week, during the 5-6 months prior to our departure. I am American and my husband is from Lucknow, India. We are expecting our first child and I want to raise him in a Hindi speaking home. We plan on raising our children completely Indian and it is very important to me that they know their own language.
I have some understanding of Hindi. Basic vocab and sentence structure. However, I need help with verb tenses, vocab, and advanced sentence structure.
I've been looking for an instructor for quiet some time now with no success.
I t is very important to me to be fluent in Hindi. My husband has taught me some but I need an advanced instructor.
I am willing to dedicate as much time as necessary to learn this language. I am a house wife so I have plenty of time to learn.
