my daughter is in grade three. since we just moved to scarborough, i have been unable to register her in the french immersion school in this area.
i was informed they wont accept her since the kids in french immersion should start in senior kindergarten, unless the child's first language in french.
thog uh french is not her first language, she loves the language, and learns easily. she is on top ofher class, second grade mark in french was A, and feels she would like to get french training comparable to french immersion.
l ooking forward to a response.
lo oking for a center(we have a nearby kumon here, but it only offers programs in reading and math, not french) here in scarborough.

Deja, j'ai pris 2 cours en français et j'ai vécu 6 mois en france.. mais j'aimerais vraiment le parler encore. Je pourrais passer un nuit par semain mais.. ça depends combien ça coute.

Am a fluent english speaker with arabic as the mother tongue, and I consider myself as a beginner level french student. I have never spoken french, my background is french,
my family is from belguim, I wish to learn the language to be able to have conversations with my family when they visit. I wish to spend at least 6 hours a week or at least what is necessary to learn it proficciently .
