My son and I would like to learn Chinese w/the aim of becoming conversationa l. For my son, who is six, we would like to see him achieve fluency by the time he graduates from highschool - this includes both reading and writing. Ideally, you'd come to our house twice a week. You have 5+ years teaching experience with high standards. We are also looking for someone who can make the lessons fun and enjoyable.

I have been taking private lessons in Beijing for about a year, but need to learn closer to home in Florida. I need work on learning grammar, and intend to use this language in the real estate business. But, first I want a solid foundation in the language itself, since I hope to teach real estate in China one day.
I need a teacher with experience, who can meet for 4 to 5 hours a day for a week each month, or something simialr. I cannot commute to Orlando or anywhere else several times each week, which I realize would be opitmal. As such, I need someone with patience and a flexible schedule.

Beginner - I wish my son to learn chinese because dual language is good for skill building. I think younger children pick up language faster than waiting until high school to study. Its a shame that kids dont begin to learn other languages in elementary school like in other countries.
