I am a advanced beginner/inte rmediate learner of Croatian. I lived in Croatia for one year and also took an intensive summer language course through the University of Zagreb. My goal is to speak more freely with my signficant other's family and gain language skills that I can use within an employment setting. I am looking into a Croatian language couse for my husband who has been self-teaching himself the language and would benefit from a more formal training to better understand the grammer and to practice speaking the language conversationa lly. Class times would need to be in the evening, as he is a working professional. Other option would be a local tutor for private lessons, if no classes are available.

Dobar dan,
I am interested in improving my Croatian for many reasons.
Fir st, for personal satisfaction and secondly, I would like to improve my vocabulary in the area of business. My issues have always been with grammar. I would like to attend to lessons as much as possible (repitition) once I get started. I try to listen to radio stations on the internet as much as possible.I can understand the weather report and the like, but when then start speaking about political situations I start to get lost.
I can have typical conversations & everyday interactions. But technical & esoteric vocabulary are beyond my grasp.
I have taken several classes throughout different stages in life, but would like to zero in on my problem areas.
