Hi im looking for someone to teach me vietnamese (mainly northern dialect)! I am part vietnamese so i have been brought up around the culture and language but never learnt.
I want to learn this language so i can communicate with my fathers family and also it is always a benifit for the future. I definitly want to learn how to write, speak and understand vietnamese in each dialect but mainly north. I would like lessons maybe once or twice a week after school hours and/or weekends. Qualities in a teacher: someone that is patient, i am a beginner!

I will be going to Ho Chi Minh City in August to live for at least two years.
Pri or to that I will live in Melbourne for six months.
I have never learned an Asian language before, but would like to learn beginner Viernamese before I go.
I would like to undertake at least one lesson a week, maybe two.
I would like a teacher to provide me with some confidence with survival phrases, as well as some insight into Vietnamese culture.
