We are absolute beginners, but wish to learn the Slovak language so as to be able to converse in her native language with our daughter-in-l aw. Although she speaks fluent English we feel obliged to make some effort in the reverse direction.
Therefore, we would like some instruction on a personal basis, having failed to discipline ourselves with the set of tapes which we acquired some years ago.
We are based in Crewe, Cheshire, but are able and prepared to travel for at least a short distance to receive regular tuition.

Dear Sir/Madam.
My adopted grandaughter lives in Slovakia. As I hope to become closer to her family and have been invited to stay with them on holiday next year, I desperately need to be able to gain a reasonable standard of conversation when I meet them.
I am also planning to purchase an apartment in Slovakia.I am keen to devote three hours weekly.
I would appreciate a tutor who can work wonders!and squeeze the very best progress from me.Someone who understand my hopes.
I will have to start at the very beginning.
