I am a Phd student exploring the experiences of diabetes consultations from the perspecitves of Indian and Pakistini patients. I am fluent in English, Punjabi and Urdu, I can also read and write Urdu to a moderate standard but would like further coaching to help improve my verbal and written skills. I would also like some coaching on translating written materials from English into Urdu. I would like a teacher who can move between urdu and English fluently and has experience in interpreting. I want to learn the language in order to be able to communicate with friends and family.
I am only interested in learning to speak and understand Urdu and I do not want to learn how to write or read it.
