I am a female health professional married with 3 children and a 93yr old German born mother from Leipzig. I have many relatives in Germany with whom i communicate with regularly orally and in writing. I now would like to improve my spoken language skills through conversation as I have already completed advanced level in German at the Goethe society some years ago. (However I do feel a bit rusty esp grammatically )I am prepared to travel to a teacher's home and welcome the chance to practise German conversation in small groups or one to one. I would be prepared to meet with the teacher for one hour once a week evenings (pref Mondays) or during the day on a Tuesday or Friday.

I am a beginner in German having no previous experience. I am an extremely good English student and learn quickly. I am going on a year-long exchange programme to Germany in January 2009 and wish to learn as much German as possible before I leave to help my communication skills in Germany. I so far have absolute minimal knowledge about the German language, so yeah, Beginner.
I want to learn German purely out of personal interest, because it seems a type of language and culture i would be interested in.
I am looking to devote a large amount of time to learning german, mostly when i'm back at University in Febuary 2009
