I'm marrying a Brazilian woman and have visited Brazil to meet her family. My language was very basic so I need to learn Brazilian Portugese to speak with my in-laws, and for travelling through Brazil on visits.
I'm a beginner, though towards the end of my visit to Brazil my communication ability was much better than it is now, 6 months later.
I need particular improvement with conversationa l Portugese.
I would like to spend 2 hours per week learning Portugese.
I hope to find a teacher that can understand my learning requirements and develop a program that suits me personally.

I wish to learn portuguese as my father is portuguese and speaks fluently. I still have family that live in Portugal and I would like to communicate with them when I visit. My mother is English so we were brought up speaking only English as she cannot speak Portuguese.
I am a beginner. I know some words and phrases but not many, and my pronounciatio n would be below average.
I would be interested in doing 1-2 classes a week with homework if thats the way the course is run.
I would be looking for a medium-paced course. Not painfully slow so I finish and still cant string a sentence together, but not so fast that I cant remember what we did last lesson because I couldnt keep up.
