I am Norwegian, born in the United States. Most of my family has moved back to Norway, and my wife and I are planning to move over in three years. We would like to learn Norwegian before we make the move. I grew up around Norwegian, but it has been many years since I had to use it. I would need to start as a beginner. I am very dedicated to learning Norwegian. I just need someone to teach me. I am looking for a good, practical, friendly teacher.

I know a fair amount of Spanish but my heritage/back ground is Norwegian. My hometown and college are affliliated with Norway. I have a strong desire to learn the language before I visit the country.
I would like to learn to speak and write...I am looking for twice a week lessons or weekends...ma ybe an hour at a time...I am looking for a native Norwegian, if possible...I am just a beginner but fast learner.

I want to learn another language and I chose Norwegian because of my ancestors. I realize the difficulty of the language, but feel that learning it would make me feel closer to those long past relatives.
I am definitely a beginner and could take weekly lessons. I want to dedicate as much time as possible to learning Norwegian. I am looking for a patient and preferably nice teacher.
