I am a beginner speaker of Amharic. I only know some numbers and some greeting words. I want to learn the language because it is my paternal language and I will be going to Ethiopia very soon. I believe I need to improve on all aspects especially conversationa l learning. I would like to dedicate two weeks straight to amharic lessons in Addis Ababa starting the end of april. I would like my teacher to be able to help me by having good enough english so that we can communicate and if I have questions he/she will able to answer them and good grammar skills so that I learn the proper way of speaking amharic.

I need to learn conversationa l Mandarin as I am planning to go to China, also I always wanted to learn it. I would like one-on-one lessons, or small groups. I don't need written, only oral. I speak Cantonese at home, so I have some graspe of Chinese. I want to spend maybe 2-3 nights a week learning, and hopefully be able to carry a conversation within 3-4 months. Dear futur teacher,
I am looking for a private teacher to help me with my studies. I find it very hard to stay motivated on my own and would like to meet someone once a week (about two hours).
I have studied Japanese for three years, two at Montreal University and one at Nagoya Gaikoku Daigaku (NUFS). I am about Nikyu level, but I feel like I am regressing because I do not practice enough. I would like some help with reading comprehension (novels and/or newspapers).
Since I (should) know the basics, I would rather have a class where I do the research myself (kanji, vocabulary, grammar) and get help and explanation afterward.
I am a 24 years old native French speaker, but I am mostly bilingual (English), so lessons in English are fine.
