My name is Francesca, I'm 15 and interested in learning Portuguese. I love languages and I want to learn all of the romance languages. I'm fluent in Spanish and conversationa l in French, and I'm learning Esperanto and Italian. I would like an hour of class, 2-several times a week. I am interested in learning Portuguese because my boyfriend is from Brazil, and although he speaks fluent English, his family and many of his friends speak very little or no English. I will eventually go to Brazil with him and I want to be able to be able to communicate with the people in Brazil and understand what is going on around me. I am a beginner. Although my boyfriend has tried to teach me Portuguese, we always end up speaking English. I can understand a little bit and I can speak some basic phrases, but I do not know much Portuguese beyond that. I am looking for at least one hour a week, maybe more, depending on the price and schedule.
