Hello,
I am wanting to learn Russian on a more personal level where I can move at my own pace. I have taken a basic Russian class in Sacramento but did not learn much and do not wish to wait until a course at the community college opens up.
I am willing to dedicate time, and am looking for a teacher who is willing to meet me in Sacramento area at a library, coffee shop, book store, etc.
I would like to know what you would charge for an additional student as well, my brother, who is also interested in learning the language.

I am interested in learning Russian for both personal enjoyment and for professional/ career enhancement purposes. I am a beginner in Russian, having studied a few semesters while I was in college (but it has been over 5 years since I last studied Russian). I would like to focus on improving the spoken language for everyday conversation, and need refreshers on grammar. Realistically , because of a full work schedule, I will only be able to dedicate a few hours per week to learn (somewhere between 4-10 hours). I am looking for an instructor who is fluent in both Russian and English.

I am continuing to learn Russian after living in Kazakhstan for a year. I am mostly interested in improving my conversationa l skills due to my interest in the language. I am an intermediate, conversationa l speaker but need a lot of help with grammar because I have only learned by listening and speaking with native speakers. 5. Really need someone who can encourage me to talk and suggest good readigs - not too advanced, but not too basic either. I've studied Russian years ago and have done some refreashing lately and figured I can move fast but will still need to wrap up basics.
I am not a big fun of traditional textbook teaching, but still like to have a book or something to rely on.

I would like to learn the Russian language because I will take a trip to Russia next year and visit two families I know as friends.
I am a beginner and never had any previous instruction. Currently I am studying the russian alphabet and pronunciation info. from online sites. My interest is grammar, conversations ,reading and writing the language (at least 1-2 hours per week).
The qualities I am looking for in an instructor is patience, dedication, and sensibility.
