We are looking for a tutor or a class to continue teaching our son Tagalog. He has been in the Philippines for the past year and plans on going back in a volunteer capacity to work with the urban poor. We want to assist him to keep up his Tagalog until he returns in the fall. He plans on taking formal Tagalog lessons again when he returns in the fall.

hello im wishing to learn tagalog becasue my wife is philipino & lives in the philipines .But i am liveing in the uk and work on ships .I am vacant between end April & end of june and would love to learn the language 1 on 1 .I can understand that maybe i cannot get a tutor in plymouth my local city area , so am prepared to travel and perhaps live in somewhere if up the line or anywhere in the uk for that matter .I can also understand that because the time gap isnt very long i not learn all the language obvioussly as its very indepth , but its really only for a passtime , and to get me learning on my work leave .Id be very happy if somebody would take me away and sit me down and learn me the tagalog language .please get back to me if anybody is available for a short term learning faze for me ?MATTHEW MARCOS MALLETT .Also im very prepared in paying money,no problem .

I am looking to learn tegalog as i will be based in the phillipines for the next year with work.
I am looking just to learn basic conversation, enough for me to make basic conversation with locals, buy things at shops, and to be able to get around town.
I only know the odd word here and there but want to learn the language and be able to make conversation.
I am will to dedicate 2-3 hours a week.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient but willing to meet at least once a week on a 1-1 basis for my lessons.
I am also open for video /skype lessons as a mode of delivery.
