My family is Iranian yet I did not learn Persian. I want to spend time with my grandmother in Tehran and learn Farsi. I am thinking 2-3 months.
I have taken a beginner course in the US and tried to practice a bit when visiting Iran twice before. So I'm a bit farther than absolute beginner but not to intermediate yet. I need to practice and work on everything - grammar, conversation, colloquial, reading, writing. I do think speaking is more important for me than reading and writing, at this at this point.

I want to learn language to communicate and speak. I have tasted some Farsi and find it to be a beautiful language so I want to learn more. Ideally I'm looking for a class to learn grammar and functions and practise basic transactional exchanges. I am a kinaesthetic and creative learner so would like lessons to be practical and fun with opportunities to practise what we have learned. I also want to practise reading and writing in Farsi.
