I am a 21 year old student at the university of Ottawa who is searching for a teacher capable of teaching modern day Arabic. I am planning on taking a trip to the middle east during the Christmas/New Years holiday and would very much like to become somewhat fluent in the language. I'm planning on visiting Jordan, Dubai, and Lebanon. I realize this will be a challenge considering I have never spoken, or written any arabic ever before. I have a very flexible schedule and am willing to dedicate a lot of time to this endeavour.
I'm actually looking for a teacher who will be demanding and is also willing to spend a lot of time with me to learn the language.

I studied Arabic for two months in Dubai, UAE, but the class that I took wasn't very good and I still consider myself a beginner. I would like to learn how to speak and write Arabic and I am looking for a flexible teacher whose native language is Arabic, preferably Gulf Arabic.
