I have been learning turkish for 4 years. I would like to continue to do so. I prefer to learn in person. There is a possibility that there will be a small group of us. We are all the one standard and are learning because we travel to Turkey frequently. We are of an intermediate standard. We wish to practise conversation and listening with a certain amout of grammar to improve our accuracy.
We want the lessons to be taught through turkish. We are flexible as to the options...... .One evening a week for 2 hours or perhaps an intensive course, e.g. One Saturday a month.

I started to learn Russian 2 years ago for no particular reason other than my own personal interest in languages. I don’t have any special requirements – only to be able to understand and speak fluently in day-to-day situations.
I currently have an intermediate cert from Trinity college (starting an advance evening course this year). I am very quick in picking up words and grammar.
I am able to read books and newspapers (understandin g the text w/out the help of dictionary although not knowing all the words), however my active vocabulary is poor and I don’t feel confident enough to have a proper conversation. Also I think my listening skills need further improvement.
I am Czech and the more Russian I know the more similarities I can hear/ see and studying in a big group is not really pushing me forward. I feel that more intensive approach is needed. I would expect my lessons to be more conversation focused with some grammar and written exercises as I would like to take a part in Russian exams next year.
I am very flexible and I can make this my priority in my schedule so it would probably be best to talk to a teacher to find some reasonable timetable and plan that would suit my needs.
