I am a disability nurse and i am being taught basic sign by a client of mine but he is heavily handicapped and has trouble with the hand signs. I would like to learn sign so I can communicate with him on a better level and not just for him but for career advancement as well. I haven't been a nurse for long but I have huge career prospects. I believe sign language and possibly a third language in time will make me a valuable asset to any health care facility I chose to work at. I also wish for my 3 year old daughter to learn sign as well to give her a better understanding of the deaf community and so we can have quite litterally 'quiet time' If there is anyone who could help me out with this i would be eternally greatful

We are a private school on the Gold Coast and are looking for 2 qualified teachers, one of Vietnamese and one of Korean, to teach after school to 2 small groups of Vietnamese and Korean students to prepare them for the external Vietnamese and Korean exams next October. Proficiency - Beginner level
Why? - I left Moscow in April 2008 after 3 years working for Deloitte there. I am currently working for KPMG in Sydney, however I aim to return to Russia in the short-medium term and want to continue my russian language lessons
Area s for improvement - I have 'emergency' russian skills, but would like to build on this very low base and start to develop my grammar to actually have a proper conversation in Russian.... a big ask!
Time - 2-4 hours per week in evenings or on weekends
Qua lities of the teacher? - patience and tenacity...

I have been currently learning Latin American spanish on and off for the past six months in Sydney and online and have recently stopped lessons due to work commitments. I am leaving for Colombia again on the 29th December and would like to put in a solid effort before i go away to have a greater understanding of the language. At this stage i may be looking at up to two lesson per week. I am looking for a teacher that is local to my home town which will make it easier due to finding time around work. I am ready to start now!
