I am looking for a brazilian portuguese tutor because I will be travelling to Rio end of August and I need to make sure I can communicate well in portuguese. I have a good knowledge of Spanish and I understand spoken/writte n portuguese (mostly from listening to brazilian songs which I love), but have trouble conversing in the language. Therefore I would welcome a more conversationa l approach, but also with emphasis on the correct use of grammar and acquiring a rich vocabulary. I would prefer to have about 10 intensive classes (say 2 classes per day every other day) in the period 1-18 june that I will spending in the boston area. I might also need further online lessons afterwards.

I have been to Brasil many times, and so I've been able to learn a lot of Portuguese, but I'm not fluent, yet, and I really would like to become fluent. I can give about 15 hours a week for 3 weeks (maybe 6 weeks depending) for studying the language this summer. I need to improve in vocabulary,an d conversation.
