I am interested in learning Indonesian as it is my partners native language and I plan to spend more time in Jakarta in the future. I am a beginner so would need to start from basics. Hi, the reason I an wanting to learn a foreign language is to firstly achieve my goal of studying in the Netherlands at the university of twente.
At the moment, im still a beginner and the most areas that would need the most improvement would be conversation and writing essays in dutch.
Although I am currently studying psychologie, I am willing to spend 5-10 hours a week focusing on the dutch language.
The only quality I would like from a teacher is a person who understands the students needs and what the student is trying to aim for.

My fiancé is Dutch so I am trying to learn for her and for a three-month stint in The Netherlands, beginning in October.
I am a beginner, to an extreme degree. I know very little but I am determined and motivated to become fluent! Areas needing improvement: ALL.
To be beneficial to me, I would need lessons to be between one and two hours each time. I would endeavour to do at least an hour's study each day.
The ideal teacher would be friendly, open and patient. At the same time he/she would be very practical, with high expectations and excellent English.
