I am a beginner learner and I wish to have an intensive lesson to pick up the language quickly and effectively. I plan to go to Barcelona to work next year, and one of the visa requirements is to have a certain level of Spanish skill.
I have been doing some self-study through Spanish learning websites but I'm not sure if I am doing it right.

I am a 56 year old woman, working as a community nurse in Riyadh. I will be taking a holiday to southern Chile in March 2016 for a month. I would like one on one lessons in conversationa l Spanish at least once a week between now and March next year, with a view to continuing in a more structured manner on my return to Riyadh. I have recently moved to Santa Pola, and I must learn Spanish conversation. For example, I need to speak to a printer servuce i Barcelona, I want a teacher from Alicante or Santa Pola, or in this area I would like to learn Spanish conversation, I am an absolute beginner. My wife and I will be spending a year traveling through Latin America and would like to improve our Spanish. We both have basic Spanish as a result of completing the first three units of Rosetta Stone and can get by when visiting Spanish speaking countries. We would like to devote our first month of travel to immersing ourselves in Spanish in order to make the rest of our trip more enjoyable. Our goal is to be able to communicate with other Spanish speakers that we meet along the way. Ideally the instructor has been trained in the best way to teach a foreign language and can patiently work with us to become conversationa l in day-to-day Spanish.
