I want to learn Hebrew, because I have always been fascinated with the language, and I figured that I'm at the right age to start. I am most likely at the beginner level. I dont have any particular areas that I want to work on because I need help in all areas of the language. I would like to have at least 4-5 days of lessons. My name is Tammy-Jane. I'm very interested in learning Hebrew and French. I have had some previous experience in french but no experience in Hebrew. I have always wanted to learn another language to expand my knowledge as a person for both personal reasons and for possible career reasons. I am willing to dedicate as much time possible to learn a language with regard to my university studies and work (Possibly 2 - 3 hours per week). Qualities I'm looking for in a teacher is someone who is professional yet someone who is relaxed and easy going. Someone who is prepared and enjoys teaching.

I want to learn Biblical Hebrew to complete the requirements of a doctoral program at Seminary. I am an abject beginner, knowing only the aleph-beth and that not well. I need to commit some hours per day to acquire the knowledge I require, although weekly sessions with an instructor would work out well for me. I need someone to hold my feet to the fire. The teacher must be patient and willing and able to teach. That's all I ask for.
