my name is Prabhakar,i like tamil very much nd was searching for tamil teaching tutors from a long time nd finally i got somebody.

I am an American college student in Claremont, CA. In August, I will be going to India (Madurai, in Tamil Nadu to be exact) for three months to study and do research on Indian culture. I would like to make an effort to speak the native language of Tamil while I am there. English is my mother tongue, and I do not have any previous experience with Tamil.
In terms of time commitment, I am on a full-time student's schedule and budget, so I would probably only be arranging for 3-5 hours of lessons per week. I can learn either in person, via the phone, email, or online.

Hello,
I am a second year university student who has recently returned from a semester in Chennai, India. I was volunteering at an orphanage and I enjoyed my time so much that I would like to return for a much longer period time in the future. However, I would love to return with a basic working knowledge of the Tamil language in order to communicate with the children and workers. I specifically would like direct teaching on conversation speaking and listening skills. I would be willing to spend time with my teacher on a weekly basis for approximately the duration of a school year, September to April, if this amount of time was necessary.
