I am a British woman who`s first husband was a n Egyptian, we lived in Egypt for around a year so my arabic is so-so I can get by. We had 2 children and in our wisdom chose to only speak English to them as we now lived in England and at a later stage my husband would speak arabic! Unfourtunatel y my husband died when the children were only 4 and 6 so their arabic is non existant. The children and I feel it is very important to learn arabic as they are now 12 and 15, I am not confident enough in my arabic to teach them to a high enough level. I would like them to speak Egyptian arabic if possible to help them to communicate with the family in Egypt. I have taught them arabic letters and they can say a few phrases but essentially they need to start from scratch. I would prefer tutorials in person with the children together so I obviously need a tutour based in West Midlands in the UK.
