I am a beginner in learning the Finnish language. I have bought some books and have already learned a few basics, such as pronunciation , basic words and phrases and a little grammar. I am learning Finnish as I may be moving there with my partner, who is Finnish, in the next year or so. I would like to have a good command of the language before I move and would seriously consider one to one lessons, as there is only so much you can learn alone from books. I would be looking to spend maybe one or two evenings a week, depending on the cost, as I am still a poor student. But I love languages and would commit time and effort to my studies and I am very serious about learning.

I am looking to learn the Finnish language to a reasonably high standard. I had Finnish lessons for only 3 months over a year ago when I lived in Finland. I consider myself a beginner. I am marrying a Finnish man and wish to be able to communicte with him in his language (not just English) and also his family, (who dont speak any english). Eventually I would like my future children to bilingual, and for me to able to communicate with them in both languages. I would prefer to have my lessons in person, to ensure continued commitment. I would like to have approximately 1 lesson a week, (evening class). I am looking for someone who is obviously fluent in this language, who can explain all things clearly and teach me everything which is relevant. I need someone to concentrate on the pronounciatio n of the words and letters in Finnish. I will be able to practice each week, what I lean with my Fiance. I am looking to start immediately.
