Hi i have just arrived to BH im here for three months have been doing online stuff to learn but i really want to speed up the process so i was wanting to get private lesson maybe for an hour 3-4 times a week for a month in the mornings preferably because my pronunciation i am really struggling the most with and is effecting my confidence speaking so hoping this will help if i can find the right teacher!.

Hello to whom this may concern,
I am moving to Belo Horizonte, Brazil on November 12 of this year, and I really need a tutor/teacher to help m learn/remembe r the language quickly. All my family on my father's side is Brazilian and when I was under six I spoke Portuguese fluently and now I am trying to get it back. After living in the States with my mother and I for 17 years, my father stopped speaking Portuguese and I just never heard it anymore. Now that I am done with High school he wants to send me there for four months, but we would like for me to study 4 times a week, for two months. I speak intermediate Portuguese: but my goal is to be fluent again, to improve my listening skills, and to be confident in my speaking abilities. Like I said, I would be willing to commit 2 months to you and I promise I will work extremely hard because I want this very much. I am looking for a teacher who speaks English and Portuguese well, who would meet with me 4-5 times a week, who is kind, but also pushes me to do my best, and who lives (or is willing to come to) in Belo Horizonte.

I want to speak Portuguese fluently as soon as possible so that I have a realistic chance of finding a job here in BH.
I have only been speaking for 3 months but I am learning quickly as I also speak French and, more importantly, Spanish.
I want to have a very intensive period learning Portuguese so that I can learn asap.
A teacher with a lot of teaching experience would be great. It may be an advantage for them to toeach English as this can sometimes help explain differences in the 2 languages.
