I want to learn Czech because my wife is Czech. :) We travel to the Czech Republic often and I would like to communicate with our friends and family in Czech.
I'm a beginner in Czech. I can say basic greetings and ask the time or for a beer.
I want to learn conversationa l Czech with some understanding of grammer.
I want to spend about 3 to 4 hours a week in class or with a tutor... and do some homework. I want a flexible schedule as we travel often.

- Beginner level (we need to learn the very basics: counting, greetings, directions, etc.)
- My friend is of Czech decent and my boyfriend is Czech. We want to learn some Czech to communicate with relatives and while traveling.
- A two hour lesson once per week for the two of us would be great!

I am a beginner and have memorized approximately 500 Czech words but I have no knowledge of Czech grammer.
I am currently trying to study from a book called 'New Czech Step by Step' by Lida Hola and need help. I am stuck on the second lesson.
My goal is to travel to the Czech Republic and have a simple working knowledge of the Czech language.
I would like to have approximately 2 hours of tutoring per week and to follow the format of Lida Hola's course.
The tutor I am looking for would need to be patient, have correct Czech pronunciation , reliable and able to come to the Oakridge or the UBC area of Vancouver.
