beginner-inter mediate wants to learn french to work in Quebec or France. I want to work on speaking, listening, grammer and vocabulary. I am thinking about taking 5-10 hours per week. I am looking for an experienced teacher with solid command of French that can help me to work towards fluency in the language. I prefer to study at my place, and am comfortable paying $20 per hour.

my daughter is in grade three. since we just moved to scarborough, i have been unable to register her in the french immersion school in this area.
i was informed they wont accept her since the kids in french immersion should start in senior kindergarten, unless the child's first language in french.
thog uh french is not her first language, she loves the language, and learns easily. she is on top ofher class, second grade mark in french was A, and feels she would like to get french training comparable to french immersion.
l ooking forward to a response.
lo oking for a center(we have a nearby kumon here, but it only offers programs in reading and math, not french) here in scarborough.

i would be classified as a beginner in any of the languages i'm interested in learning. I want to learn one of these languages since learning another language aside from english and my native language is a great interest for me in terms of personal gain for when i travel or go on vacation. i would like to spend 10 hours a week at most in learning a language. I would like the teacher to give me more exercises both written and verbal as we progress on our lessons.
