I have no previous knowledge of Japanese language or culture. I am interested in learning to speak Japanese for business overseas. I am currently a university student and am going to be majoring in International Business, so clearly, knowledge of the language would be a monumental asset, as you knowledge of the Japanese culture. I would like to dedicate at least three days a week, several hours each time to the study of Japanese from now (Feb. 2004) until the end of April of this year. I would eventually like to be able to speak Japanese fluently. I have found in the past that I am strong with Languages, namely French, Croatian English and Spanish. Although I am not sure how I would fare with an Asian language.
