I do not know how to speak Persian, but I would like to start learning the basics before I leave to the middle east in the beginning of November. I would like to dedicate 5 hours a week (perhaps more depending on work) to learning Persian. I would prefer a teacher who has spent time in the middle east, and who is comfortable with the English language.

I would like to practice my conversationa l skills, and also improve my grammar, as well as reading and writing.

I do not know a single word in Farsi at the moment, but I would like to learn a little so that I can travel without being helpless.
I would like to travel to Tehran, and spend 2 weeks intensively learning Farsi.
I would like to find a teacher who is able to spend 8 hours a day giving instructions. I am willing to participate in one-on-one or group instruction.
Because I only speak English, the teacher must speak fluent English.
