I am a beginner and only know very basic Russian. I would like to be able to speak it fluently. I would be willing to commit to 1-3 classes a week. Or even Skype or texting. My name is Trecia, and I will be a first-year engineering student at the University of Calgary this fall.
I would like to learn Russian because I would like to work in Russia in the future and the Russian language fascinates me. I would consider myself a beginner, but I'm a fast learner and very motivated. I need help with speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. I would like to have a two hour lesson once a week or every other week, depending on my schedule.
As a ELS volunteer tutor myself, I am looking for a teacher who is intelligent, patient, and charismatic!
I prefer a teacher who is calm and not overly energetic. I want a focused teacher who will use time wisely and knows how to deliver the information I need in the most effective manner. Also, I would prefer to work in a small group rathar than one-on-one because I feel the classes are more entertaining and I can absorb the material better.

I am learning Russian for the purpose of career advancement. I work for a Russian company work with many Russians on a daily basis. I don't know much beyond the alphabet and some introductory vocabulary. This is something that I really want to pursue and I would like to be able to speak, read, and write in Russian, and I'm willing to work hard at it. I would like to spend at least five hours a week working on my own and at least two to three in lessons. In an instructor, I'm looking for someone who challenges me and forces me to think things through.

Hello,
I am interested in taking beginner russian language classes with the purpose of better serving my company and our Russian clients.
I am a total beginner.
When the sessions begin, I would prefer to dedicate 4 hrs per week towards face to face sessions and I will then dedicate the necessary time afterwards for any practice which is required.
