i want to learn arabic beacuase my girlfriend is going back to Lebanon once she is finished her phd and if ever i decided to, i would like at least have the possibility of going with her, so for this i need to learn how to speak Arabic in particular Lebanese dialect.
i am completely a beginner, i know 10 words in Arabic :(
i want to devote as much time as i can afford per week, i really want to learn Arabic/Lebane se!!

I want to learn arabic for a few reasons. 1) I would like to learn a third language. I am a beginner but with my boyfriend I have worked on the pronunciation of some words or sounds like that roll of the tongue represented by 'gh' in transliterati on. I would like to have a class once a week for about an hour but my schedule is flexible.

Spanish is my first language, English my second, and I'm almost done w/ French (I'm okay, but not fluent yet).
I did 3 semesters (2 beginners, 1 intermediate) of Arabic language at the University of Florida and I wish to continue learning it. The first 2 semesters, I had a teacher from Sudan, the 3rd semester I had a quick-paced teacher from Algeria.
I love languages, and I'm really interested in the Arabic culture, music and language. In university, I was majoring in French & Linguistics and minoring in Anthropology and Arabic. I wish to become a translator and interpreter.
I want to study w/ a not-too-big group of people at an intermediate level for maybe an hour, 4-5 times a week, or 2 hours 3-4 times a week, something like that.
I'm looking for a teacher who is patient and who is slightly quick-paced, and leaves homework.
