Hi there,
I am looking for a Tamil teacher to help me increase my proficiency in the spoken language and to learn how to read and write in Tamil (I cannot read or write at all). I wish to learn to get more in touch with my roots and for my career as well (primarily in the legal and business fields). I hope to start with day-to-day conversationa l Tamil and hope to increase from there. I hope to dedicate a couple of hours a week to the study.

I am learning Tamil for personal conversationa l needs.
I know nothing at all except for 'yes', 'no', and 'okay', so I would be classified as beginner.
I don't need to know how to read or write, mainly how to speak it.
I am willing to spend two hours max. per day/ every other day for my lessons.
For my lessons, I need them to be straight forward, and for my instructor to be able to explain things straight, and be patient.
