We are looking for sometime to teach us Vietnamese. My boyfriends family is originally from Vietnam. And we are looking to learn the language. We are both beginners, and do not know any of the language. We are going back to Vietnam next year, and are hoping to know more of the language to communicate with his family. Lessons once or twice a week. We are looking for an instructor who would be willing to teach the two of us. At the moment we are mostly interested in learning to have conversations , and hopefully increase our skills over time.

I'd like to learn Vietnamese because my fiancees family speak it more then english. He always told me that he'd teach me it but with everything going on we just don't find time. My schedule is fairly open. I just wanted to surprise him as well. Hes going on a trip to Thailand so I was thinking that while he's gone might as well try to learn it.

I'm a beginner. I'm half vietnamese and half european, but was never taught the language. When i go to visit some of my vietnamese relatives, i cant understand and usually have to get someone to very roughly translate it... I would really love to finally learn the language. I will dedicate lots of time. I'm looking for someone who is patient.
