I have a strong desire to learn to speak Bahasa Malayu becauase I lived in Kuala Lumpur for 7 years, and only learned a small amount, some phrases and greetings, etc. I want to learn for more career opportunities , as eventually I would like to become an interpreter. I hope to go back to Malaysia soon and I would love to be able to speak more of the language. I would need help in all aspects, grammar, conversation, etc. Due to the fact that I am a stay at home mother, I regret that I cannot dedicate a large amount of time to learn, but I would be prepared to commit to anywhere from 3-7 hours a week. Its not much, but it is a start. In a teacher, I would hope to have someone that is patient and really knows and loves what they're teaching. Someone who has a passion for what they're doing, and tries to make it a rewarding experience for the student.
