I am living in France for a semester and I would like to learn some french so I can interact with people at a basic level at least. I am a law student from the University of Warwick in England. As part of my course I'm spending my third year in Lille. However, after being here for 3 weeks I've realised my French is awful. I got a B in ALevel French, but my actual French does not reflect this. I am struggling to understand a single thing in lectures and anything at all on a daily basis from simply buying food to the more complicated process of opening a bank account.
I need lots of help. I want to have lessons for as long as it takes to understand lectures otherwise I will fail.
