Hi my name is Megan i'm studding German at year 10 level. my grades have dropped since last year the German has become harder so my understanding has decreased i love learning German it's one of my favorite subjects and i'd like to be able to speak to my family over in Germany when i go later this year i need improvement on basically everything. Hello
I will be in Germany mid August and would like to gain a basic understanding of the language. I am a beginner so would like instruction in areas that would benefit me while I'm traveling. I could commit to 1 day per week, (possibly 2) for lessons. As I'm leaving quite soon, I would like a tutor who is happy to assist me on such short notice.

I have recently undertaken a German course in Germany at the B1 level and wish to keep up my German when I return home. I can read newspaper texts, articles from Der Spiegel and similar texts without too much difficulty. I want to improve my reading and writing skills to enable me to write in German to friends, express opinions on current topics and to become more familiar with the German legal system. My preferred means of learning is by email. The tutor refers me to a lesson or text, I study it and complete exercises and send for marking.
I prefer 'traditional' textbooks such as Russon's German grammar textbooks with the opportunity to do some translating from English to German of selected texts.
I don't care where the tutor is located as contact will be by email.
I hope this does not sound too unorthodox to potential tutors.
