I wish to further my skills. Many of my friends are international and I wish to be able to converse with them in there own languages. Also for career advancement, I work in an industry which would appriciate language capabilities.
I am a behginner.
Be able to converse and write in the languages that I choose to undertake.
I am looking at spending around 5-6 hours per week minimum.

I would like to learn Japanese as I am going to Tokyo in December for a wedding. I used to have a Japanese homestay girl 5 years ago and have remained very good friends with her and she is who is getting married.
I am very much a beginner, I know a few words due to Tomoko living with me in the past and my sister has also lived and worked in Japan.
I would like to have at least one lesson per week and I would like to be able to have a conversation with Tomoko's mother and father as they both do not speak english.
I would also like to say a small speech at the wedding.
I am looking for a teacher who will be patient with me and does not mind me asking lots of questions.
